Emma's Dilemmas

Finally my moms chemo is over and all is well in my universe. by the way im sorry i havent posted in a while its just been so hectic. I just got a new unit poetry i am so excited.

My mom is just two weeks away from being finished for chemo. I am excited that she is almost done because she wont be so tired on the weekends. My mom inspires me to push through things because she does not complain about how hard things are. Fifth grade is so much fun and I'm excited for the rest of the year. It's my last year of elementary school next year i will be in my moms class hopefully she doesn't embarrass me. My dad was so brave last weekend he caught and released a snake. This is the video.

So I have some bad news. I'll do the worst one first. I am not doing gymnastics anymore.  The second thing is our class gerbil died. So  I guess I just got on the train of sadness.  It will get better though.

This is my first week of school and it was hard. Mrs.Byars let me take home her gerbil named Nina. Next week we are going to have a lot of homework. But I'm having a lot of  fun.

My  mom is the strongest woman I know. She is my role model. She takes care of us and makes dinner and has chemo therapy every two weeks. It's just amazing to watch her fight this battle and isn't scared. She is even going to school will chemo and such. I just love her effort and bravery. I love you mom!

School is 8 days away and boy am I excited. It's my last year of elementary school. Tomorrow my mom and dad go back to school to do lesson plans. Which means I have to wake up at 6:00. Then I will go to gymnastics after my friends pick me up.

Today my grandma is coming back from beaver island. I am very excited so that I can sleep at her house for a day or two. Have any of you been to beaver island I want to go to beaver island it sounds so fun. Today is taco night but  don't know why were having taco's tonight because it is not Tuesday. I am also hanging out with my best friend Emma.

I'm am starting to my blog again and I'm super exited that I'm back. I just spent the week end in Canada  so that was fun. I just remembered to tell you something how was your fourth of July you can comment and tell me. Now I didn't just go to Canada  but I also went to Michigan and new jersey. I went to new york but let me give you some advice if you plan to be there for one day prepare for a lot of walking. who is ready to go back to school well call me crazy but I am. I just love the excitement  on the first day of school. but both of  my parents are teachers so by the first week of school i don't want to get up at 6:00 in the morning. that's all for today see you later.I forgot one thing my friend I met in Canada that actually lives in France her name is  Amandine .

Two weeks ago I found out that my mom has cancer.This is really hard for me because my mom has done this twice now.The first time it happened I was three to young to understand what was going on.We went to the doctor to meet the oncologist.his name is Dr.Timothy Kuo. I know everything is going to be ok but every child my age would be nervous don't you think.My mom's surgery is on may 20th guess what day that's on?What a coincidence its on the math EOG .It was already nerve wracking  to do the math eog but now I have to worry about my mom.The good news is I get to leave after the eog's to hang out with my nanny and get our nails done.I will get to go see my mom at 7:30 p.m.. Then we can say we kicked your butt cancer.

Yesterday I just could not get my cartwheel on the beam. Maybe I'm just not trying hard enough.I  am just waiting for the day that I get it.I just have to hang in there.
